Dr. Michael O’Brien is the owner and managing dental provider of Denture Makers and is an adjunct faculty member at the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry.
As an undergraduate, Dr. O’Brien graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Biomedical Concentration in 2009. Dr. O’Brien also completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2014. Dr. O’Brien completed externships at Cherokee Indian Hospital, First Health Dental Care Center, and Central Prison in Raleigh during his last year of school.
He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the North Carolina Dental Society (NCDS).
When asked what he enjoys most about his job, Dr. O’Brien states, “I enjoy getting my patients out of pain and back to their everyday lives.” In his spare time, Dr. O’Brien enjoys fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Henry Davis, Jr. was born and raised in Salisbury, North Carolina. After graduating from high school, he attended Western Carolina University for two years before joining the United States Navy. Dr. Davis trained as an aviation electronics technician and worked as a technician and training instructor on the flight simulator for the RA-5C Vigilante photo-reconnaissance aircraft.
After receiving his Honorable Discharge from the Navy, he enrolled at North Carolina State University, graduating with Honors and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Dr. Davis graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and has been practicing dentistry for thirty-five years. His passion is dentures, especially the Turbyfill Denture Technique.
Dr. Davis is married to Cynthia and has three daughters, one step-daughter and six grandchildren. He is an avid soccer fan and played in the adult recreation league of the Capital Area Soccer League for twelve years. He is an auto racing fan, especially sports car racing, and enjoys music and classic movies.
